Located in the picturesque village of Cascais, not too far from the capital Lisbon, the Albatroz Hotel provides an idyllic getaway spot in a quiet location right next to the fabulous sandy beaches. This quaint and luxurious 5* hotel occupies a restored 19th century villa and beach house that sits on the edge of the beach offering spectacular panoramic views of the ocean and each of the 44 rooms and 8 suites have been individually designed with a decorative style.
To keep guests as comfortable as possible during their stay the hotel offers a great range of facilities that help to make you feel at home, with a fantastic outdoor swimming pool and an ocean pier connecting to the hotel allowing you to experience the splendid views while relaxing by the pool or going for a jog in the morning or evening. The hotel also boasts facilities aimed at guests staying on business with 8 fully equipped and air conditioned conference rooms ideal for important meetings and there is specially designed banquet rooms/space for important events. Additionally there is also a business centre with high speed internet, fax/photocopying and parking is provided free of charge onsite. If you just need to unwind and relax during your holiday then you will be happy to hear that guests at the hotel are allowed to access to the nearby spa and fitness centre where you can indulge yourself with jacuzzi, sauna and massage treatments.

You will find Cascais is a peaceful spot away from the usual traffic and city noise that you might expect from the nearby city of Lisbon. There are plenty of activities and sights in the area to explore as well with thrilling water sports available at the beaches if you fancy doing more than just sunbathing and the open countryside is perfect for enjoying hikes, cycling and horse riding. Also there are plenty of outdoor sports to try with tennis courts, golf and even parasailing and skydiving that can all be found not far from the hotel. Cascais itself offers plenty of chances for great shopping with modern commercial centres featuring many shops, supermarkets and several great restaurants to visit and just outside the town you can find the Beloura Complex that features several cinema screens along with even more shops. The entertainment doesn't stop there either as Cascais boasts a lively nightlife either in the trendy downtown area with late night bars and restaurants or on the docks with many bars, discos and late night chic shops that are always popular in the summer period. For some alternative evening entertainment it is worth noting that near to Cascais is Europe's largest casino, the Casino Estorel where the many chances to win big (or not) as well as live performances and music all year round.

##Accomodation
The rooms at the hotel are spread over the 4 historic buildings of the complex with the 44 rooms, 3 junior suites and 5 suites all offering fabulous views over the beach or ocean. Each of the rooms are well furnished and equipped with all the modern amenities you would expect, including air conditioning, LCD TV with satellite channels, direct dial telephone, in-room safe, Wi-Fi access (surcharge), soundproofing and a private bathroom with bath/shower, WC and hairdryer.
All of the hotel's rooms are non-smoking, additional beds/cots are available on request and some of the suites even feature their own private pools.

##Eating and Drinking
Each morning a sumptuous breakfast buffet is served at the panoramic restaurant and terrace, so you can combine your meal with the wonderful sea breezes and breakfast is served from 7am till 10am.
The restaurant also offers a delicious variety of dishes for lunch and dinner too, with lunch between 12:30pm to 3pm and dinner from 7:30pm till 10:30pm.
At the Terrace Bar you can enjoy a tempting range of light lunches from the menu along with refreshing variety of drinks from teas and coffees to cocktails, and the bar is open all day from 11am to 1am.

##Swimming Pools
The hotel features a salt water outdoor pool located in the attractive grounds, where you can cool down on those hot summer days or just relax and enjoy the fabulous views over the ocean while soaking up the sun on the terrace with loungers.
